I believe one of the keys to Kingdom Living for the child of God on this earth is to first of all understand that we are not of this world. According to John 17:14 we are not of this world any more than Jesus was of this world. Yes, we live in the world in a natural physical body, but our spirit man is not of this world.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 tells us that we are a spirit; we have a soul; and we live in a body. Therefore, the real you is the spirit man living on the inside. That is the real you, is not your physical body.
We need to be conscious of the fact that we are spirit, soul, and body and that we are not of this world. Otherwise, we can very easily slip into the world’s way of thinking and talking.

Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is something to be sought after; it is something to be looked for, as seen in Matthew 13:44 that “…the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy of it goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.”
Now, listen very carefully, Jesus is saying that after we have been saved by the grace of God, it becomes very important that we begin a search for the kingdom of God! I think this is a truth that by in large has been totally overlooked in theological circles.

Weird – Because Normal Isn’t Working
Today, I want to talk to you about Weird Appetites, because it’s so normal to give in to your normal and natural desires. For example, how many of you have ever felt like saying something or felt like doing it and you did it, but later on you regretting it? How many would say, “I’ve done something or said something I later regretted?” Because it’s so natural to give into your normal desires, normal people do it all of the time.
This week we will learn how manage our desires and learn not to compromise and come out with God’s best.

Times have always been perilous, but we must remember “Perilous Times Require Power”.
This is the third message in this series titled “The Church in the Last Days.”
When we were born into this physical life, God created us with a free will and the ability to make decisions. One of the most important decisions you will ever make in your life is who to team up with God or the devil. The choice is up to you!
When we were born into this world we were born of the flesh. But the Bible tells us that when we were born again, we were born of the Spirit.
The Word of God tells us that the “anointing” is “in” us. We know this “anointing” is the Person of the Holy Spirit that abides within every child of God. There is something inside you that is greater than what is wrapped around you.
This week we will learn how to overcome the enemy, through the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.

Weird – Because Normal Isn’t Working
We are starting a brand new series today called Weird.
I will be just real honest with you.
Most of us are living what is called a NORMAL life… Just plodding along doing the same thing every week, same restaurants, same ballgames, same job, same friends. We have average mundane spiritual lives, most spend more than we make, and we call it Normal… WE have relationships that are marked by routine and and anything but exciting and its called normal.
We struggle and fall and find ourselves hopeless and helpless and we call it normal.
What if there is another way..
In this week’s message we will learn that Jesus didn’t live a normal life. In fact, many would call the way Jesus lived just plain WEIRD!!!

Times have always been perilous, but we must remember “Perilous Times Require Assurance”.
This is the second message in this series titled “The Church in the Last Days.”
Last week we were reminded in 2 Timothy 3:1, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.” And in this study, we will see that the first key to survival in these perilous times is the assurance of salvation.
Jesus gave us this warning in John 3:3, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for us to stop playing our little religious games with God and check our eternal standing!!
Salvation, through Jesus Christ, is the only way to obtain that eternal security. This week we will learn, how to obtain that salvation and have the assurance to stand in perilous times.

There will always be critical people, criticism will never go away!
Good morning Next family we are in the middle of two series. We just finished our I Love the 80‘s Series and next week we are starting a series called Weird. Yeah love the title don’t you?
In the mean time I thought we would take a look at a very practical topic.
This is something we all face and something we all deal with and unfortunately some of you deal with it way too often. Today we are going to talk about dealing with a certain type of person . Specifically, we are going to talk about how to deal with critical people. Now let’s get something out of the way right off the bat, We all know critical people because all of us have been critical, so before we get to self-righteous I want to say that we can all learn something about being critical.
I am talking about the type of criticism that is intended to damage and hurt. The type of criticism that is damaging.
Now Criticism will never go away. We will all be criticized.
Even a quick glance at the Bible will tell you that criticism is unavoidable.
In this week’s message we will discuss how to overcome and deal with critical people.
