We are a people obsessed with the “now”. We have fast foods, instant banking, rapid tax returns, and quick marts. Value is judged by seconds or even less. People will pay top dollar for a computer that can process information a few extra microseconds faster. But, the Bible is simply teaching us that you cannot rush real love. Love can wait, but lust cannot wait.
