Let me ask you a question – have you ever left someone somewhere by mistake? You would be surprised how many times, through the years of ministry, that we have found children that had been left at church. Sometimes it was because the parents were driving separate cars and the one thought the child was with the other parent. Sometimes they were just walking and talking, got in the car and drove off without realizing that their child was not with them.

Well today, I want to talk to you about a time when Jesus was left behind. Imagine that – losing Jesus, leaving the God of the universe behind. I mean, I have seen some children that I could understand being left behind, but not Jesus. How could such a thing happen?
