As we study this week’s text we see two disciples of Jesus on the way to the temple for a service. Not in Chevrolets and Fords, Toyotas or Hondas, of course, but on the way to church nevertheless. As our text reveals, they received an unexpected opportunity to be a witness
for Jesus. This text should encourage each of us to know that we too can be a witness for Jesus; no matter how inadequate or unworthy we may feel.
